The best sounding cars in our Dubai fleet are the V12 Ferraris, the V10 Lamborghini Huracan and Audi R8, and the flat-six Porsche GT3 family. A V8 Ford Mustang Dark Horse starts at AED 830 a day, and rental is without a deposit.
Best sounding cars to rent in Dubai: the short list
If you came for the sound, there are three families to know. The naturally aspirated V12s (Ferrari 812 GTS and 12 Cilindri) have the grandest note. The naturally aspirated V10s (Lamborghini Huracan and Audi R8) have the sharpest. The 4.0-litre flat-sixes (Porsche 911 GT3, 911 GT3 RS and 718 Spyder RS) rev the highest. Behind them come three American V8s that cost less to rent and are easy to enjoy: the Chevrolet Corvette, the Ford Mustang Dark Horse and the Dodge Challenger Hellcat Redeye.
Every car below is in the Brook Drive fleet today, so any of them can be booked. All ten need a driver aged 25 or over, and licence experience is shown on each car’s page.
This is an editorial ranking of sound, not a measurement. We ordered the cars by engine layout and by how high the engine revs, because many cylinders and high revs without a turbocharger give the cleanest, most musical note. Power and rev figures are the manufacturers’ own, linked at the end of the article. Makers quote power in different units (cv and PS are metric horsepower, hp is mechanical), so we show each figure as the maker publishes it.
| # | Car | Engine | Power (maker’s figure) | From, per day |

Top 10 best sounding cars in our Dubai fleet
Each card gives the maker’s engine figures, what to expect behind the wheel and the current rate. For a sport car with a different character, browse all of our sport cars.
1. Ferrari 812 GTS

The 812 GTS is the car to book if sound is the whole point. Ferrari rates its 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12 at 800 cv (588 kW) at 8,500 rpm, with a limiter at 8,900 rpm. Ferrari reshaped the exhaust of this open-top version to give a full-bodied V12 sound in the cabin, and says it is most appreciable with the roof down. The folding hard top opens in 14 seconds at speeds up to 45 km/h.
- From AED 8 990 a day for a 1 to 2 day rental
- Engine: 6.5-litre V12, naturally aspirated
- Minimum age 25
Verdict: the most layered V12 sound in the fleet, best enjoyed with the roof open on a quiet road.
Ferrari 812 rental details and current stock.
2. Ferrari 12 Cilindri

Ferrari’s front-engined V12 berlinetta has 6.5 litres, no turbochargers and 830 cv at 9,250 rpm, with 678 Nm of torque at 7,250 rpm and a limiter at 9,500 rpm. Ferrari says it optimised the intake and exhaust lines, including equal-length exhaust tracts, so the engine keeps its signature note all the way to the limiter.
- From AED 12 000 a day for a 1 to 2 day rental
- Engine: 6.5-litre V12, naturally aspirated
- Minimum age 25
Verdict: the highest-revving V12 in the fleet, and the one that keeps pulling to 9,500 rpm.
Ferrari 12 Cilindri rental details and current stock.
3. Lamborghini Huracan

The Huracan EVO has a 5.2-litre naturally aspirated V10 rated at 640 CV (470 kW) at 8,000 rpm. Lamborghini describes the EVO’s lightweight exhaust as giving an even more vibrant and thrilling sound. Our fleet has several Huracan versions, including the EVO Spyder, so check the car page for the exact one. With the Spyder’s roof down the V10 is right behind your head.
- From AED 3 590 a day for a 1 to 2 day rental
- Engine: 5.2-litre V10, naturally aspirated
- Minimum age 25
Verdict: a sharp, hard-edged V10 scream that suits an open road at the speed limit as much as a slow cruise.
Lamborghini Huracan rental details and current stock.
4. Audi R8 V10

The R8’s 5.2-litre FSI V10 is naturally aspirated, and Audi says it revs freely to a limiter at 8,700 rpm. Depending on the version it makes 570 or 620 PS. A comfortable cabin makes it the V10 that is simplest to live with in city traffic, while the sound is every bit as exotic as the Huracan’s.
- From AED 2 030 a day for a 1 to 2 day rental
- Engine: 5.2-litre V10, naturally aspirated
- Minimum age 25
Verdict: the most affordable V10 here, and an easy first supercar for sound lovers.
Audi R8 rental details and current stock.
5. Porsche 911 GT3 RS

Porsche rates the 992 GT3 RS’s 4.0-litre naturally aspirated flat-six at 386 kW (525 PS) at 8,500 rpm, and it revs on to 9,000 rpm. A flat-six fires every 120 degrees of crankshaft rotation, which gives a hard, rasping, race-car sound that climbs steadily toward the limiter rather than a deep rumble.
- From AED 9 120 a day for a 1 to 2 day rental
- Engine: 4.0-litre flat-six, naturally aspirated
- Minimum age 25
Verdict: the rawest sound on the list, and the one that rewards revs.
Porsche 911 rental details and current stock.
6. Porsche 911 GT3

The GT3 uses the same idea in a more road-friendly package: a 4.0-litre naturally aspirated flat-six with 375 kW (510 PS) at 8,400 rpm and a limiter at 9,000 rpm, according to Porsche. Expect the same flat-six character, a high-pitched wail that rises toward 9,000 rpm.
- From AED 4 800 a day for a 1 to 2 day rental
- Engine: 4.0-litre flat-six, naturally aspirated
- Minimum age 25
Verdict: a 9,000 rpm flat-six at a much lower rate than the RS.
7. Porsche 718 Spyder RS

Porsche’s mid-engined roadster takes the naturally aspirated 4.0-litre flat-six from the 911 GT3 family: 368 kW (500 PS) at 8,400 rpm and a 9,000 rpm redline. The roof is a lightweight single-layer fabric top that you operate by hand, so with it off there is nothing between you and an engine sitting just behind the seats.
- From AED 2 390 a day for a 1 to 2 day rental
- Engine: 4.0-litre flat-six, naturally aspirated
- Minimum age 25
Verdict: the best sound for the money in the flat-six group, and an open-top car by design.
Porsche Boxster rental details and current stock.
8. Chevrolet Corvette Stingray

The mid-engined Corvette has a 6.2-litre naturally aspirated V8. Chevrolet quotes 490 hp, or 495 hp with the optional performance exhaust. Expect a deep, muscular V8 rumble that sits behind your shoulders, more bass than scream.
- From AED 1190 a day for a 1 to 2 day rental
- Engine: 6.2-litre V8, naturally aspirated
- Minimum age 25
Verdict: the cheapest way to sit next to a big naturally aspirated V8 in a mid-engined car.
Chevrolet Corvette rental details and current stock.
9. Ford Mustang Dark Horse

Ford rates the Dark Horse’s 5.0-litre naturally aspirated V8 at 500 hp at 7,250 rpm, with 418 lb-ft at 4,900 rpm. It is the classic Mustang voice with a rev-happy edge, and it is the least expensive naturally aspirated V8 on this list.
- From AED 830 a day for a 1 to 2 day rental
- Engine: 5.0-litre V8, naturally aspirated
- Minimum age 25
Verdict: the budget pick for a proper V8 soundtrack.
Ford Mustang rental details and current stock.
10. Dodge Challenger Hellcat Redeye

Stellantis lists the Redeye at 797 hp and 707 lb-ft from a supercharged 6.2-litre V8, with a 2.7-litre supercharger and a limiter at 6,500 rpm. The sound is different from everything above: a big V8 rumble with the whine of the supercharger on top, rather than a high-revving scream.
- From AED 1 430 a day for a 1 to 2 day rental
- Engine: 6.2-litre V8, supercharged
- Minimum age 25
Verdict: loud in a very different way, and the muscle-car choice for sound.
Dodge Challenger rental details and current stock.
Why V12, V10 and flat-six engines sound different
Engine sound starts with how often the cylinders fire. In an evenly firing four-stroke engine one cylinder fires every 720 degrees of crankshaft rotation divided by the number of cylinders: every 60 degrees on a V12, 72 degrees on a V10 and 120 degrees on a flat-six. More firings per turn make a denser, smoother stream of exhaust pulses, and a higher-pitched, cleaner note as the revs climb. Every V12, V10 and flat-six in this ranking makes its peak power at 7,900 rpm or higher, which is why they sound so different from the V8s at the bottom of the list, which peak at lower revs.
The other big factor is forced induction. A naturally aspirated engine lets exhaust gases leave almost straight away, so the pulses stay sharp. A turbocharger sits in the exhaust path and takes energy from the gas, so turbo engines are usually deeper and more muted at high frequencies. For the engineering detail, see the SAE paper on turbocharger acoustics by Rämmal and Åbom. A supercharger, as on the Challenger, is driven by the engine and sits in the intake, so the V8 note stays and a whine is added.

Engine noise rules in Dubai for renters
A loud engine is fine on an empty road, but Dubai polices noise strictly. Dubai Police says driving a vehicle that makes excessive noise carries a fine of AED 2,000 and 12 black points. The figure was given by the head of Dubai Police’s traffic department in October 2026, as reported by Khaleej Times and The National. In the first nine months of 2026 Dubai Police recorded 2,045 excessive-noise violations and impounded 333 vehicles for them, and it said it plans to put more noise-measuring devices on the roads.
A big engine is not the problem; the way it is driven is. Revving at a standstill, loud downshifts in residential streets and late-night bursts near hotels are what attract complaints and fines. If a car is impounded because of a violation during the rental, the release fee and related costs are the renter’s responsibility under the rental agreement, set out in our terms and conditions. Fines that arrive are forwarded to the renter and paid after the rental. You can check a fine on the Dubai Police fine payment service.
Helpful tipUse the quieter drive mode in residential areas, near hotels and after dark, avoid revving at a standstill, and keep the full note for open roads at the speed limit. Loud is not the same as fast.

How to choose a sounding car and book it
- The biggest, most musical note: Ferrari 812 GTS or 12 Cilindri (V12).
- The sharpest, most exotic note: Lamborghini Huracan or Audi R8 (V10).
- The highest revs and a motorsport edge: Porsche 911 GT3 RS, GT3 or 718 Spyder RS (flat-six).
- The best sound for the budget: Ford Mustang Dark Horse, Chevrolet Corvette or Dodge Challenger Hellcat Redeye (V8), all in our muscle cars category.
The conditions are the same for all ten: rental without a deposit, a minimum age of 25 and a daily mileage limit that is shown on each car’s page (200 to 250 km), with extra kilometres charged separately. Tourists need a passport, their home licence and an International Driving Permit. UAE residents need a UAE driving licence and an Emirates ID. Booking a month or longer can cut the daily rate by up to 50%.
Helpful tipSeveral cars here exist in more than one version, for example the Huracan as coupe or Spyder. Name the exact version you want when you book, so the car delivered is the one whose sound you chose.

Which car in your fleet sounds the best?
Sound is subjective, but most people point to the naturally aspirated V12 Ferraris, the 812 GTS and the 12 Cilindri. For a sharper, higher-pitched note, take the V10 Huracan or R8, or a Porsche flat-six.
Does a convertible sound better than a coupe?
With the roof down you hear the engine and exhaust directly. Ferrari says the V12 sound of the 812 GTS is most appreciable with the roof open. The 812 GTS and 718 Spyder RS are open-top models, and the Huracan and Corvette are available as open versions.
Is a naturally aspirated engine better than a turbo for sound?
Usually it sounds crisper at high revs, because a turbocharger sits in the exhaust path and mutes part of the sound. That is why the V12, V10 and flat-six cars lead this ranking.
What is the fine for a loud car in Dubai?
Dubai Police says excessive vehicle noise carries a fine of AED 2,000 and 12 black points. Fines that arrive are forwarded to the renter and paid after the rental.
How much does it cost to rent a sounding car?
For a 1 to 2 day rental, rates start at AED 830 a day for the Ford Mustang Dark Horse and AED 2 030 for the Audi R8, and a Porsche 911 GT3 is AED 4 800. Longer rentals cost less per day.
Is there a deposit?
No. Brook Drive rentals are without a deposit.
