At Brook Drive a day of car rental in Dubai starts from AED 470 for an economy car, from AED 660 for an SUV and from AED 720 for a luxury car. The daily rate falls on longer rentals.
What a day costs by vehicle class
Car rental prices in Dubai depend on the class you pick as much as on how long you keep the car. The table shows the «from» rate for each class in the Brook Drive fleet and one example car with its rate for a 1-2 day rental. Live rates for every car are on the price list.
| Class | From, per day | Example car (1-2 day rate) |
|---|---|---|
| Economy | AED 470 | Fiat Abarth 595, AED 470 |
| Family | AED 590 | Mercedes C300 Black, AED 720 |
| Sedan | AED 720 | Mercedes C200, AED 720 |
| SUV | AED 660 | Nissan Patrol LE Platinum City, AED 1070 |
| Convertible | AED 590 | Chevrolet Camaro Convertible, AED 590 |
| Sports | AED 470 | Ford Mustang GT 5.0 V8, AED 710 (Special Offer) |
| Luxury | AED 720 | Range Rover HSE Black, AED 1 910 |

A car in this catalogue can carry more than one class label. The Ford Mustang GT above sits under sports, convertible, muscle and Special Offer at once, so one model can appear on several category pages. To browse a segment, open economy cars, SUVs, convertible cars, sports cars or the full range of luxury cars and see live availability and current from-rates for every model.
Helpful tipCheck a car’s full class list on its own page before comparing it with a category «from» rate. A model that sits in two or three categories can be the cheapest way into a segment you did not expect.

How the rate falls with rental length
Every car in the Brook Drive fleet is priced in four length brackets: 1-2 days is the headline daily rate, 3-7 days is the long-weekend or week rate, 8-29 days sits in between, and 30 or more days is the monthly rate. The rate is always quoted per day, and the bracket depends on how long you book the car for.

The longer the rental, the lower the price per day. For a month, the saving can reach up to 50% against the daily rate, and the price list shows the average saving for each bracket. Two real cars from the fleet show how the daily rate steps down:
| Car | 1-2 days | 3-7 days | 8-29 days | 30+ days |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Mercedes C300 Black | AED 720 | AED 660 | AED 600 | AED 360 |
| Range Rover HSE Black | AED 1 910 | AED 1 790 | AED 1 670 | AED 1 310 |
The biggest step in the tariff is at 30 days: on most cars a 30-day booking costs less in total than 29 days, because the 30+ day rate is so much lower.
Helpful tipIf your dates sit just below a bracket boundary, such as 29 days instead of 30, compare the totals before you confirm. A slightly longer booking can cost less overall.

What actually moves the price
Three things move a car’s rate in this fleet: the class and power of the car, how long you book it, and the date of the rental. The class table above shows how far rates stretch between an economy hatchback and a full-size luxury SUV, and the same logic applies inside a class: a sports car’s price climbs quickly with engine size and performance.
Rental length is the lever with the clearest effect, covered in the section above. Moving from a 1-2 day booking to 30 or more days is where the biggest saving sits.
Demand shifts with the seasons in Dubai: winter is the busy period for tourism and rentals, summer is quieter. The prices on our site apply to rentals starting within the next 30 days, and seasonal rates may apply to later dates. The two ways to pay less are a longer bracket and a car from the Special Offer category, covered in the checklist further down.
Helpful tipBooking more than a month ahead? Ask the managers to confirm the rate for your dates before you build the budget around today’s price.

What you pay on top of the daily rate
The daily rate is not the whole bill. Here is what comes on top, who charges it, and when.
Salik and Darb tolls
Salik. Dubai’s toll gates charge AED 6 per crossing at peak hours, 06:00 to 10:00 and 16:00 to 20:00, and AED 4 off-peak, 10:00 to 16:00 and 20:00 to 01:00. There is no charge between 01:00 and 06:00, and Sundays are a flat AED 4, according to The National. Public holidays and major events can follow a different tariff, and the windows shift during Ramadan. Salik has added 5% VAT to its tariff since June 2026, Khaleej Times reports, which puts a peak crossing at about AED 6.30 and an off-peak crossing at about AED 4.20. Passing the Al Safa North and South gates, or the Al Mamzar North and South gates, in one direction within an hour is charged only once. Salik is read automatically from the car’s tag and billed to the renter separately after the rental ends. It is not part of the daily rate.
Darb. Abu Dhabi’s Darb toll is AED 4 per crossing. The four original gates charge it from Monday to Saturday, 07:00 to 09:00 and 15:00 to 19:00, and are free outside those hours. The two newer gates, Ghantoot and Al Qurm, have operated 24 hours a day since May 2026, The National reports. Darb is billed to the renter separately after the rental ends, the same as Salik. Abu Dhabi’s official information on the system is on TAMM.
Fuel
Every car leaves with a full tank and comes back with a full tank. We do not sell fuel, so you pay a filling station directly. UAE pump prices are set monthly by the Fuel Price Committee. For October 2026 they are AED 4.40 a litre for Super 98, AED 4.28 for Special 95, AED 4.21 for E-Plus 91 and AED 4.80 for diesel, according to Gulf News. The prices reset every month, so check the current figure before you budget a long trip.
Traffic fines
Fines are forwarded to the renter and paid after the rental ends. Brook Drive takes no deposit, so nothing is held against them. The authority that issued a fine sets its amount, and the RTA explains how Dubai fines are paid on its Pay Vehicle Fines service page.
Delivery and collection
Delivery and collection are free once the rental value reaches AED 10,000. Below that, delivery within Dubai is AED 185 between 09:00 and 21:00, or AED 235 outside those hours, plus 5% VAT. Delivery to Dubai International Airport starts from AED 250.
Mileage
Each car has its own daily mileage limit, from 200 to 250 km, shown on the car’s page. Extra kilometres are charged separately.
Parking
Paid parking in Dubai is priced by the authority, not by us. Parkin, the operator of the paid zones, describes the ways to pay, including its app and SMS or WhatsApp, on its pay for parking page.
Helpful tipCross Salik gates between 10:00 and 16:00, or between 20:00 and 01:00, and you pay the lower off-peak tariff. Between 01:00 and 06:00 there is no tariff at all.

What is already included in the rate
Here is what is already inside the daily rate, with no extra charge.
Basic insurance is included in every car’s daily rate. There is an excess set out in the rental agreement, and it depends on the model. We do not publish the amount here, and the managers confirm it when you book. Extended insurance is available on top, also without a published price, so ask the managers. Any damage, including a scratch found on the car while you were away from it, needs a police report.
Beyond insurance, the rate already covers child seats at no extra cost, 24/7 booking and support, a handover that takes about 20 minutes, and a car that has just come through the group’s own detailing centre between rentals. If a car breaks down, you contact us, we collect it and provide a replacement.
Helpful tipAsk the managers to confirm the insurance excess for your specific model before you book, especially if you are choosing between two cars in different classes. It varies by model and is not shown on the price list itself.

Deposit and payment methods

Brook Drive does not take a security deposit, and there are no hidden charges. What is billed separately after the rental, such as Salik, Darb and fines, is listed in the section above.
Payment methods accepted are cash, cards, cryptocurrency and other methods.
Helpful tipWhen you book, ask the managers what will be billed after the rental, so that the total you expect matches the final bill.

Who can rent and what you need

Minimum age and minimum driving experience are set per car, not by one fleet-wide rule. Across the fleet they run from 21 to 25 years, with 3 or 5 years of driving experience, and the requirement is shown on each car’s own page. A Mini Cooper S Convertible or a Mercedes C300 asks for 21 years and 3 years of experience, a BMW X5 mostly asks for 23 and 3, and a Range Rover HSE asks for 25 and 3 to 5. More powerful cars tend to ask for more, but it is not exact: two cars of the same model can differ, so check the page of the specific car.
Tourists need a passport, their home-country driving licence and an International Driving Permit. UAE residents need a UAE driving licence and an Emirates ID. There is no hourly rental at Brook Drive: one day is the minimum booking.
How to spend less on a Dubai car rental
A short checklist that pulls together what is above:
- Book the length bracket you actually need. The saving steps up at 3-7 days, again at 8-29 days, and most sharply at 30 or more days.
- Check the Special Offer category before you pick a class. It is a separate group of discounted cars, from AED 710 a day.
- Aim for a rental value of AED 12,000 or more if delivery matters to you. From that value delivery and collection are free instead of AED 185 or AED 235 plus VAT.
- Time Salik crossings for the off-peak window, 10:00 to 16:00 or 20:00 to 01:00, or the free window between 01:00 and 06:00, rather than the peak hours.
- Return the car full. With the full-to-full fuel policy there is nothing to settle if the tank is topped up when you hand the keys back.
VerdictA lower total comes from length and category, not from timing the calendar: book the bracket you need, look at the Special Offer list first, and plan Salik crossings for off-peak hours.

Frequently asked questions about car rental prices
Is insurance included in the rental price?
Yes. Basic insurance is included in the daily rate. There is an excess set out in the rental agreement that depends on the model, and the managers confirm it when you book. Extended insurance is also available, and the managers can give you its price.
Is there a security deposit?
No. Brook Drive does not take a security deposit and has no hidden charges. You still need a valid payment method to cover the rental itself.
How much is a rental car per month?
It depends on the car, but the 30-day bracket is where the biggest drop happens, and the rate is quoted per day. A Mercedes C300 is AED 720 a day for 1-2 days and AED 360 a day for 30 days or more, and a Range Rover HSE is AED 1 910 and AED 1 310 a day. For a month, the saving can reach up to 50% against the daily rate.
What is the cheapest car to rent?
The Fiat Abarth 595 is one of the cheapest cars in the fleet: AED 470 a day at 1-2 days, down to AED 300 a day at 30 or more days.
Do I need an International Driving Permit?
If you are a tourist, yes, alongside your passport and your home-country driving licence. UAE residents use a UAE driving licence and an Emirates ID instead.
What is the minimum age to rent a car in Dubai?
It depends on the car. Across the fleet, the minimum age runs from 21 to 25, with 3 or 5 years of driving experience, and it is shown on each car’s own page rather than as one fleet-wide rule.
What is the mileage limit?
Each car has its own daily mileage limit, from 200 to 250 km, shown on the car’s page. Extra kilometres are charged separately.
Who pays Salik and traffic fines?
The renter does, in both cases. Salik and Darb tolls are billed to the renter separately after the rental ends. Traffic fines are forwarded to the renter and paid after the rental.
What is the cheapest way to rent for a week?
Book the whole week as one rental, so the 3-7 day rate applies to every day, and start with the Special Offer category, which has cars from AED 610 a day at that rate. Delivery within Dubai costs AED 185 or AED 235 plus VAT, unless the rental value reaches AED 10,000.
Can I take the car outside the UAE?
No. Driving outside the UAE, including into Oman, is not allowed under the rental agreement. Trips stay within the UAE.
