Rolls-Royce Cullinan vs Bentley Bentayga vs Range Rover SV in Dubai

Rolls-Royce Cullinan, Bentley Bentayga or Range Rover SV: three flagship luxury SUVs in Brook Drive’s Dubai fleet, compared on power, price, practicality and the trade-offs renters actually weigh before booking one.

Cullinan, Bentayga, Range Rover SV at a Glance

All three are full-size luxury SUVs built on different ideas of what that should mean. The Rolls-Royce Cullinan puts the Rolls-Royce rear-seat experience into an SUV body, with a 6.75-litre V12 that is almost beside the point. The Bentley Bentayga answers the same brief for people who still expect to drive the car themselves. The Range Rover SV has the most power of the three on paper and is by far the cheapest to rent.

Rolls-Royce Cullinan, Bentley Bentayga and Range Rover SV compared, Brook Drive fleet
Model Power and engine 0-100 km/h Seats Min. age / experience
Rolls-Royce Cullinan 563 HP, 6.75L twin-turbo V12 5.2 sec 5 25 / 5 years
Rolls-Royce Cullinan Black Badge 592 HP, 6.75L twin-turbo V12 4.9 sec 5 25 / 5 years
Bentley Bentayga 542 HP, 4.0L twin-turbo V8 4.5 sec 5 25 / 5 years (Bentayga S: 3 years)
Range Rover SV 600+ HP, 4.4L twin-turbo V8 4.5 sec or quicker 5 25 / 5 years

Figures are manufacturer data, with power in brake horsepower. The Range Rover SV has the most power of the three and is at least level with the Bentayga on the sprint to 100 km/h, yet it rents for a fraction of the Cullinan’s daily rate. The Cullinan is the slowest of the three on paper, which tells you nothing about why people book it: nobody rents a Rolls-Royce for the 0-100 time.

Verdict

Choose the Cullinan for the entrance and the back seat, the Bentayga for a luxury SUV you actually want to drive, and the Range Rover SV if the goal is the most power and the lowest daily rate in one booking.

Rolls-Royce Cullinan: The Statement Entrance

The Cullinan carries the design language of the Rolls-Royce saloons: the Pantheon grille, the coach doors that open from a rear hinge, the upright stance. All of it sits on an SUV body with real ground clearance. Brook Drive lists nine Cullinans: standard black and white cars plus Black Badge versions in black, white and grey, all on the Rolls-Royce Cullinan page. A Cullinan rents from AED 4 190 a day for one or two days, down to AED 3 110 a day for a month or longer.

The rear cabin is where the Cullinan makes its case: seat-back screens with fold-out tables, and a ride tuned to filter out the road rather than let you feel it. It has five seats, not four or two, which matters if the booking is for a family arrival rather than a solo drive. The Black Badge cars add power (592 HP and 4.9 seconds to 100 km/h, against 563 HP and 5.2 seconds for the standard car) and a darker look.

Helpful tip

Every Cullinan in the fleet, standard or Black Badge, asks for the same eligibility: 25 years old with at least five years of driving experience.

Bentley Bentayga: Built to Be Driven

Bentley keeps more of the road in the driver’s hands. The Bentley Bentayga uses a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 making 542 HP and reaching 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds, quicker than the Cullinan despite the smaller engine. It rents from AED 2 400 a day for one or two days, down to AED 2 160 a day for a month or longer.

The fleet also carries the Bentayga S at the same daily rate. It has the same 542 HP: the S adds sportier styling and chassis tuning, not extra power. What sets it apart for renters is eligibility, since it needs three years of driving experience against five for the standard car.

Helpful tip

If your licence history is under five years, the Bentayga S is the way into this comparison: same price as the standard Bentayga, lower experience requirement.

Range Rover SV: Most Power, Lowest Price

The Range Rover SV runs a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 with more than 600 HP, the highest output of the three cars here. On manufacturer figures it reaches 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds or quicker, at least level with the Bentayga. It is also the cheapest booking in this comparison by a wide margin: AED 1 910 a day for one or two days, down to AED 1 310 a day for a month or more.

What the SV gives up against the other two is the Rolls-Royce or Bentley badge, not cabin class: it has five seats, air suspension and a luxury-grade interior.

Price Compared: Daily Rental Rates

Longer rentals bring the daily rate down on all three cars. At the short-stay rate the Range Rover SV costs less than half of the Cullinan, and the Bentayga sits in between. Prices on the site apply to rentals starting within the next 30 days; seasonal rates may apply to later dates; current offers are in Special Offer.

Daily rental rates by length of stay
Model 1-2 days 3-7 days 8-29 days 30+ days
Rolls-Royce Cullinan AED 4 190 AED 3 950 AED 3 710 AED 3 110
Bentley Bentayga / Bentayga S AED 2 400 AED 2 160 AED 2 160 AED 2 160
Range Rover SV AED 1 910 AED 1 790 AED 1 670 AED 1 310

Verdict

The Range Rover SV wins on price and keeps pace with the Bentayga. The Cullinan costs more because you pay for the rear seat and the arrival, not for the numbers.

Seats, Luggage and Ride Comfort

All three cars have five seats, according to their car pages. Luggage space is where they differ: the Bentayga has the lowest baggage figure of the three on its car page, so check the pages of the cars you are considering if you travel with several large cases. On mileage, each car has its own daily limit, and on all three it is 200 km a day. The allowance adds up over the whole rental: two days give you 400 km to use as you like, and kilometres beyond that are charged separately.

The ride character is where the three split. The Cullinan’s air suspension is tuned purely for isolation: it is the smoothest and quietest of the three, at the cost of feeling the least connected to the road. The Bentayga sits closer to a performance SUV, with steering that gives the driver more feedback and a cabin that rewards being driven rather than just occupied. The Range Rover SV splits the difference: a commanding, upright driving position and an air suspension that keeps the cabin settled, without the Cullinan’s price or the Bentayga’s firmer edge.

This carwow drag race puts the Cullinan and Bentayga head to head for fun. The cars in the video are not necessarily the versions in our fleet, so treat it as entertainment, not as a spec comparison:

Verdict

Want to be driven and barely notice the road, take the Cullinan. Want to enjoy driving a luxury SUV yourself, take the Bentayga. Want both comfort and the most power for the least money, take the Range Rover SV.

Which SUV Fits Your Dubai Occasion

A wedding convoy, a five-star hotel arrival or any moment where the car itself needs to make the entrance points straight at the Cullinan. A business trip where you drive yourself between meetings, or a client pickup where a quieter badge still reads as serious money, suits the Bentayga better than either rival. A family holiday, a long weekend, or simply wanting the most powerful SUV in the group without paying Rolls-Royce money is where the Range Rover SV earns its place.

For a hotel or venue arrival you do not need to collect the car yourself: we deliver to addresses across Dubai, for example to hotels on Palm Jumeirah. Delivery is free for bookings from AED 10,000 and otherwise costs AED 185 for daytime delivery (09:00-21:00) or AED 235 at night, plus 5% VAT, with delivery to Dubai Airport starting from AED 250. None of the three is a wrong answer, and Brook Drive’s wider luxury cars fleet carries saloons, coupés and convertibles from the same badges if one of these turns out to be the wrong body style rather than the wrong brand.

Renting With Brook Drive: Terms to Know

There is no security deposit on our cars, the Cullinan, Bentayga and Range Rover SV included, and no hidden charges are added at pickup. Basic insurance is included in the daily rate, and extended cover is available for an extra fee. The excess and exclusions are set out in your rental agreement (see the terms and conditions), and any damage requires a Police Report. Salik and Darb tolls are billed to you separately after the rental ends: Salik charges AED 6.30 per crossing at peak times and AED 4.20 off-peak and on Sundays since June 2026, VAT included, and Darb is the Abu Dhabi equivalent. Traffic fines are forwarded to you after the rental. Fuel works full-to-full: the car leaves with a full tank and comes back full.

Tourists need a passport and a valid home-country licence. If your licence was issued outside the UAE Ministry of Interior list of recognised countries (GCC states, the US, UK, Canada, Australia, most of Europe, Japan, China and others), you also need an International Driving Permit. Our team checks this before you book, and the UAE government explains who may drive on a foreign licence. UAE residents need a UAE driving licence and Emirates ID. Cars are collected and returned in Dubai, and you can drive them across all the emirates (but not into Oman).

Frequently Asked Questions

Which is faster: Cullinan, Bentayga, or Range Rover SV?

On manufacturer figures the Bentley Bentayga reaches 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds, the Rolls-Royce Cullinan in 5.2 seconds (4.9 seconds for the Black Badge), and the Range Rover SV is at least level with the Bentayga. The Range Rover SV also has the most power, over 600 HP, against 563 HP for the Cullinan (592 HP for the Black Badge) and 542 HP for the Bentayga.

Which is the cheapest to rent in Dubai?

The Range Rover SV, from AED 1 910 a day at the short-stay rate against AED 2 400 for the Bentley Bentayga and AED 4 190 for the Rolls-Royce Cullinan. Prices apply to rentals starting within the next 30 days; seasonal rates may apply to later dates.

What’s the real difference between the Cullinan and the Bentayga?

Price and purpose more than outright speed. The Bentayga at AED 2 400 a day is built to be driven, with more steering feedback and a lower daily rate. The Cullinan at AED 4 190 a day is built around rear-seat comfort and arrival: the coach doors and the back seat are the point, not the 0-100 time.

Is the Range Rover SV as luxurious as a Rolls-Royce or Bentley?

The five-seat layout, air suspension and interior are luxury-SUV grade, and it has the most power of the three. What it does not carry is the badge of a Rolls-Royce or Bentley. The trade-off is a car that keeps pace with the Bentayga for a fraction of the Cullinan’s daily rate.

Do all three seat five, and which has the most luggage space?

Yes, each car page lists five seats. Luggage space differs: the Bentayga has the lowest baggage figure of the three on its car page, so check the car pages if you travel with several large cases.

Which should I book for a wedding or a business trip?

For a wedding, a hotel arrival or anywhere the car itself needs to make an entrance, the Cullinan’s badge and rear-seat comfort fit best. For a business trip where you drive yourself between meetings, the Bentayga is the more practical and more engaging choice at a lower daily rate.

Can I rent any of these three without a security deposit?

Yes. There is no security deposit on our cars, the Cullinan, Bentayga and Range Rover SV included. Basic insurance is included in the daily rate, with extended cover available for an extra fee; the excess and exclusions are set out in your rental agreement.
