September 2026 snapshot of Brook Drive’s price list: the median daily rate was AED 1,500 (about USD 339) across 372 positions, and a quarter of the cars rented for under AED 1070. Current rates are on the price list.
The headline numbers, September 2026
Five figures describe the distribution of the 1–2 day daily rate across 372 positions: the lowest rate, the point a quarter of the way up (p25), the median, the mean, and the point three-quarters of the way up (p75).
| Statistic | AED/day | ≈ USD/day |
|---|---|---|
| Lowest rate in the price list | 390 | 106 |
| p25 (a quarter of cars are cheaper) | 890 | 242 |
| Median | 1,245 | 339 |
| Mean (average) | 1,871 | 510 |
| p75 (a quarter of cars are dearer) | 2,600 | 708 |
The median (AED 1,500) sits well below the mean (AED 2,250) because a handful of hypercars at the top of the range pull the average up. Half of the 372 positions rent for AED 1,500 a day or less, so the median is the better planning figure, and the mean only shows how top-heavy the price list is.
| Band, AED/day | Positions | Share |
|---|---|---|
| Under 500 | 16 | 4.3% |
| 500–999 | 120 | 32.3% |
| 1,000–1,999 | 97 | 26.1% |
| 2,000–3,999 | 123 | 33.1% |
| 4,000 and above | 16 | 4.3% |
Read cumulatively: 16 positions rent for under AED 600 a day, 63 for under AED 840, 136 for under AED 1,200, 233 for under AED 2,400, 322 for under AED 3,600 and 363 for under AED 6,000. Put the other way round, 50 of the 372 positions, about one in seven, rent above AED 3,600 a day.
The cheapest car and the top of the range
The cheapest car in the September 2026 snapshot is the Fiat Abarth 595: AED 470 a day on the 1–2 day bracket and AED 300 a day on the 30+ day bracket. At the top of the range sit supercars and ultra-luxury cars such as the Ferrari 12 Cilindri, the Porsche 911 GT3 RS, the Rolls-Royce Spectre Black Badge and the Rolls-Royce Wraith, all above AED 8,400 a day.
Helpful tipBudget against the median (AED 1,500), not the cheapest headline figure and not the mean. The cheapest rate belongs to one car, and the mean is dragged up by a few very expensive ones. The median is what half the price list actually costs.

Methodology: where these numbers come from
How we measured
The figures come from the live Brook Drive feed of published rental rates, pulled in September 2026. This is a snapshot of one company’s own price list on one date, not a survey of the Dubai rental market, and it says nothing about what other companies charge. It is not the whole Brooklands group either. For today’s rates, use the price list.
One feed position equals one physical car. A model offered in several colours appears once per colour, so the snapshot contains 372 positions and 272 distinct car names. Rates are published for four rental-length brackets (1–2 days, 3–7 days, 8–29 days and 30+ days), and every figure quoted here is one of those published rates, not an estimate. The median is used as the central statistic because a small number of hypercars would drag a simple average up, and the mean is quoted once, for contrast, in the headline table. Percentiles are nearest-rank: p25 is the value a quarter of the way up the sorted list of 372 rates. USD figures use the pegged rate of AED 3.6725 to the dollar.
Class figures use the category assigned to each car in the catalogue. A car counts in a class if that class is its main category or one of its extra categories, so a convertible that is also classed as a sports car appears in both. The brand table lists every brand with four or more positions.
What the rate includes
Basic insurance is included in every published rate, and Brook Drive does not take a security deposit. Billed separately are fuel, Salik tolls, Darb tolls, traffic fines and delivery outside the free threshold. The section further down this page works through the extras.
What a day costs, by class
Median daily rates vary by more than four times between the cheapest class and the most expensive. Economy cars have a median of AED 710 a day. SUV’s and convertible cars both sit at AED 1,310. Sports cars run to AED 2,630, and luxury cars to AED 2,990, the highest class median on the list.
| Class | 1–2 days | 3–7 days | 8–29 days | 30+ days |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| SUV | 1,090 | 990 | 890 | 740 |
| Sports | 2,190 | 2,090 | 1,990 | 1,490 |
| Family | 990 | 890 | 790 | 640 |
| Convertible | 1,090 | 990 | 890 | 740 |
| Luxury | 2,490 | 2,340 | 2,140 | 1,590 |
| Coupe | 1,890 | 1,790 | 1,690 | 1,290 |
| Economy | 590 | 540 | 490 | 400 |
| Sedan | 1,790 | 1,690 | 1,590 | 1,190 |
| Muscle | 990 | 890 | 790 | 640 |
| Electric | 1,690 | 1,590 | 1,490 | 1,190 |
| Pickup truck | 1,190 | 1,090 | 990 | 790 |
| Special offer | 890 | 790 | 690 | 540 |
| Whole price list | 1,245 | 1,170 | 1,090 | 790 |

Where each class starts
Economy runs from AED 470 (Fiat Abarth 595) to AED 1190 (BMW 530 White). SUV starts at AED 660 (Audi Q3). Convertible starts at AED 590, a four-way tie between the Chevrolet Camaro Convertible, the Ford Mustang Convertible, the Mercedes C180 Convertible and the Mini Cooper S Convertible pictured above. Sports starts at AED 470. Muscle runs from AED 540 (Dodge Challenger) to AED 1,430 (Dodge Challenger Hellcat Redeye). Luxury starts at AED 720 (Mercedes C200).
Helpful tipIf a trip only needs an SUV or a convertible, compare against the class median (AED 1,310), not the sports or luxury medians further up the table. The sport cars and luxury categories sit roughly twice as high because that is where the most expensive cars are concentrated, not because every car in Dubai costs that much.

Mercedes and BMW: same size, different price
Mercedes and BMW have almost the same number of positions (59 and 58), but the Mercedes median (AED 2,510) is roughly double the BMW median (AED 1190). The gap is not the badge, it is the model mix. The Mercedes line-up in this feed skews toward AMG models and the S-Class, the BMW line-up toward the 2-, 5- and X-series. Both brands still have entry cars near AED 600–720 a day.
The five supercar brands
Five brands in the September 2026 snapshot sit at the top of the price table: Ferrari (28 positions, median AED 3,710, with the 296 GTS pictured above), Lamborghini (31 positions, median AED 3,120), McLaren (4 positions, median AED 5,990, the highest brand median on the list), Rolls-Royce (12 positions, median AED 4,190) and Bentley (11 positions, median AED 3,230). Even inside these brands there is a cheaper end: a Lamborghini Urus starts at AED 2,990 and a Bentley Bentayga at AED 2,400.
Helpful tipA brand name tells you which segment a car sits in, not its exact price. Check the specific model against the brand table before assuming every car in a brand costs the brand’s median rate.

How the rate falls with rental length
Across the price list, the median daily rate falls from AED 1,500 on the 1–2 day bracket to AED 1,410 on 3–7 days, AED 1,310 on 8–29 days and AED 950 on 30+ days. That is the median of each bracket, not the same car’s discount. The per-car discount is measured separately below.
| Bracket | Median discount | Range across the price list |
|---|---|---|
| 3–7 days | 7.7% | 0%–16.7% |
| 8–29 days | 14.5% | 3.8%–35.5% |
| 30+ days | 32.1% | 7.7%–52.1% |
A monthly rental can save up to 50% against the daily rate, and 52.1% is the best case measured in the September 2026 snapshot. It is the top of the range, not the typical outcome: the median car saves 7.7% on a week and 32.1% on a month.

Why a cheap car’s discount looks different
The Chevrolet Camaro is one of the cheaper sports cars on the list, AED 590 a day on the shortest bracket. Cars like it show why the median across the whole list moves less than a single car’s own discount: cheap cars have less room to fall, and the median blends hundreds of different starting points.
Helpful tipCompare the bracket rate for the length you are actually booking, not the 1–2 day headline figure. The same car costs less per day on a longer booking.

What you pay on top of the daily rate
The daily rate in every table above includes basic insurance. Four things sit outside it: fuel, tolls, fines and delivery.
Included in the rate versus billed separately
Brook Drive does not take a security deposit. Basic insurance is included in the daily rate. The rental agreement fixes an excess for damage, and any damage, including a car-park scratch, requires a police report. Child seats are free on request. Each car has its own daily mileage limit (200–250 km, shown on the car’s page), and extra kilometres are charged separately.
Fuel works full-to-full: the car is handed over with a full tank and goes back with a full tank. Pump prices are set monthly by the UAE Fuel Price Committee. For October 2026 they are AED 4.40 a litre for Super 98, AED 4.28 for Special 95, AED 4.21 for E-Plus 91 and AED 4.80 for diesel (Gulf News). The prices reset every month.
Salik tolls in Dubai are billed to the renter separately after the rental ends. A 5% VAT has applied to the toll tariff since June 2026, so a gate crossing costs AED 6.30 at peak (06:00–10:00 and 16:00–20:00) and AED 4.20 off-peak (10:00–16:00 and 20:00–01:00), and crossings between 01:00 and 06:00 are free (Khaleej Times). Sundays are a flat AED 4.20, and public holidays follow the normal peak and off-peak schedule. Darb, the Abu Dhabi toll, is AED 4 per crossing, and the four original gates charge it from Monday to Saturday, 07:00 to 09:00 and 15:00 to 19:00, according to The National. Darb is billed to the renter after the rental, like Salik. Official information on the system is on TAMM. Traffic fines are forwarded to the renter and paid after the rental, and the RTA explains how Dubai fines are paid on its Pay Vehicle Fines page.
Delivery is free for rentals of AED 10,000 or more. Below that threshold it costs AED 185 for delivery between 09:00 and 21:00, or AED 235 between 21:00 and 09:00, plus 5% VAT within Dubai. Delivery to Dubai International Airport starts from AED 250.
Helpful tipSalik, Darb and any fines are billed after the rental. Budget for them separately from the daily rate shown on the car’s page.

Who can rent what
Minimum age and minimum driving experience are set per car in the Brook Drive feed, not by one fixed grid, and each requirement is printed on the car’s own page.
Minimum age and experience
Across the 372 positions in the September 2026 snapshot, the minimum age is 25 on 228 cars (61%), 23 on 109 cars (29%) and 21 on 29 cars (8%), and 6 positions do not publish a figure. Minimum driving experience is 3 years on 251 cars and 5 years on 115 cars, and 6 positions do not publish a figure. The requirement generally rises with the car’s power, which is why the highest ages and experience thresholds cluster around the sports and luxury classes.
Documents
Tourists need a passport, a home-country driving licence and an International Driving Permit. UAE residents need a UAE driving licence and an Emirates ID.
How to use the index when budgeting
Two practical readings follow from the numbers above.
Match the bracket to the trip length
The 1–2 day rate is the wrong number for a week-long or month-long trip. Use the 3–7 day, 8–29 day or 30+ day rate for the car in question. Across the price list the median falls from AED 1,500 to AED 950 between the shortest and longest bracket, and a single car’s own discount can reach 52.1% on the 30+ day bracket.
Compare to the class median, not the cheapest rate
A single AED 470 or AED 590 car exists, but it does not describe the class. Economy sits at a median of AED 710, SUVs and convertibles at AED 1,310, sports at AED 2,630 and luxury at AED 2,990. Plan against the median of the class you actually need.
A median is a summary of many different cars, not a single model, so check what a specific car costs before you fix a budget. Cars discounted below their usual bracket rate are collected on the Special Offer page. In the September 2026 snapshot their median was AED 1070 a day on the 1–2 day bracket across seven positions.
