Visitors to Dubai usually pick from six groups: supercars, luxury SUVs, full-size 4x4s, convertibles, family and economy cars, and EVs. Here are popular models in each, with daily prices, age limits and what to know before you book.
At Brook Drive you rent with no deposit and no hidden payments, and we accept cards, cash and crypto. The fleet covers every group below, from supercars to family SUVs. This is a guide to popular choices, not a ranking by bookings.
Sports Cars and Supercars: The Dubai Icons
Supercars define Dubai’s street culture. Renting a Ferrari or a Lamborghini is about more than speed: visitors book these cars for sunset drives along Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR) and photos in front of the Burj Khalifa, where the skyline adds to the car’s presence.
Each car in the table below needs only about three seconds to reach 100 km/h, but the rules are strict. Most supercars in our fleet require drivers to be 25 and above, with 3 to 5 years of driving experience depending on the model. There is no deposit even on these exotics, so you only need valid documents.
Top Rated Supercars
| Model | Daily Price, 1–2 days | Requirements |
|---|---|---|
| Ferrari F8 Spider | AED 3 710 | Min age 25, 3 years’ experience |
| Lamborghini Huracán Evo Spyder | AED 3 590 | Min age 25, 3 to 5 years’ experience |
| McLaren 750S Spider | AED 5 990 | Min age 25, 5 years’ experience |
These models suit evening drives through Downtown and along Palm Jumeirah. For many visitors a supercar becomes the highlight of the trip: a chance to drive something that is usually out of reach back home.

Helpful tipEach car has its own minimum age and experience requirement, and the more powerful ones ask for more. Check the car page before you choose.

Luxury SUVs: The G-Wagon Phenomenon and Beyond
In Dubai, the Mercedes G-Wagon (G63) has outgrown its utilitarian roots to become the city’s ultimate status symbol. With a twin-turbo V8 well north of 500 hp, a boxy silhouette and a handcrafted interior, it suits business meetings, hotel arrivals and late-night drives through DIFC.
The Lamborghini Urus blends supercar pace with SUV practicality, while the Rolls-Royce Cullinan offers whisper-quiet opulence and handcrafted details. All three seat up to five passengers in comfort, which suits a VIP airport transfer as well as a family outing at Global Village.
Elite SUVs for Business and Status
| Model | Daily Price, 1–2 days | Feature |
|---|---|---|
| Mercedes G63 AMG | AED 2 510 | Iconic status symbol |
| Lamborghini Urus | AED 2 990 | Sport SUV performance |
| Rolls-Royce Cullinan | AED 4 190 | Ultimate luxury |
Minimum age for these models is generally 25 years, with 3 to 5 years of driving experience: the G63 asks for 3, the Urus and Cullinan for 5. The car page shows the exact requirement for each card. These SUVs also handle the city’s highways with ease, whether you’re heading to a meeting in Business Bay or dinner at Atlantis The Palm.
Full-Size SUVs and 4x4s for Highway Trips
The Toyota Land Cruiser and Nissan Patrol are the classic big family 4x4s. Both are comfortable on long paved highway trips to Al Ain or Hatta, where their power and space show.
Helpful tipRentals are for paved roads only. Driving onto sand voids your insurance, so keep the Land Cruiser and the Patrol on highways and city roads.

Reliable 4×4 Rentals
| Model | Daily Price, 1–2 days | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Toyota Land Cruiser 300 | AED 1190 | Seats seven |
| Nissan Patrol Platinum | AED 1070 | Spacious and powerful |
| Land Rover Defender | AED 1 310 | Modern tech and style |
These models require drivers to be 23 and above (25 on some Defender cards), with a valid license and, for tourists, an IDP. Use them for highway trips to Abu Dhabi or Sharjah’s heritage sites. The Land Cruiser 300 seats seven, which makes it a good fit for group trips to the Hajar Mountains or a weekend run to Fujairah’s beaches.
Convertibles: Perfect for the Winter Season
From October to April, when temperatures sit around 20–30°C and the humidity drops, Dubai turns into a convertible paradise. The Ford Mustang and the Porsche 718 Boxster are popular choices in this segment, offering open-top drives along the coastal Jumeirah Road or the tree-lined streets of Emirates Hills.
Morning coffee runs to Kite Beach and evening drives past the Dubai Marina skyline feel cinematic with the roof down. By May the heat climbs past 40°C and drop-tops lose their appeal, but through the winter they’re the best way to experience Dubai’s weather. Explore our full convertible cars fleet for more options.
Top Convertibles for Winter
| Model | Daily Price, 1–2 days | Min Age |
|---|---|---|
| Ford Mustang Convertible | AED 590 | 23+ |
| Porsche 718 Boxster | AED 1070 | 23+ |
| BMW 420 Convertible | AED 770 | 21+ |
The BMW 420 is open to drivers from 21, while the Mustang and the Boxster both ask for 23 and above. The Mustang offers a strong balance of performance and price, a taste of American muscle without the supercar bill.

Helpful tipPlan open-top drives for the morning or the evening. From May the midday heat passes 40°C, and the roof is better up with the air conditioning on.

Economy and Family Vehicles for Smart Travel
For longer stays or families exploring Dubai’s malls and parks, our economy cars deliver solid value. The Mazda 6 balances comfort and fuel efficiency for daily commutes or a road trip to Fujairah, while a compact like the Fiat Abarth 595 makes parking in multi-level garages at Dubai Mall or Mall of the Emirates easy.
For larger groups, the Hyundai Staria seats seven with room for luggage, while the American-sized Chevrolet Tahoe brings commanding road presence and ample cargo space.
On a monthly contract, prices in this category drop well below the daily rate, which makes these cars a smart choice for an extended vacation or a business relocation.
Best Value and Family Cars
| Model | Daily Price, 1–2 days | Long-Term Benefit |
|---|---|---|
| Mazda 6 | AED 770 | AED 530 a day on a 30+ day rental |
| Hyundai Staria | AED 710 | 7-seater van |
| Chevrolet Tahoe | AED 830 | Spacious US full-size SUV |
Minimum age runs from 21 to 23 depending on the car: 21 for the Mazda 6, 21 or 23 for the Tahoe depending on the card, and 23 for the Staria, all with a valid license. These models prioritize practicality over prestige, yet they handle Dubai’s highways with ease and keep the fuel budget in check over a month-long rental.

Helpful tipFor a stay of a month or more, check the 30+ day price on the car page. The daily rate drops, and the difference grows with the length of the rental.

Electric Vehicles: The Rising Trend
Dubai’s EV infrastructure keeps growing: DEWA alone runs more than 400 Green Charger stations, part of a citywide public network that passed 2,200 charging points in early 2026. DEWA’s tariff is AED 0.70 per kWh for AC charging and AED 1.20 for DC fast charging, plus VAT, as listed on the DEWA EV charging page. The same page describes a guest mode in the DEWA app that lets you charge without an EV account, and the charger locations are listed on DEWA’s site.
Tesla is the best-known name in our rental EV lineup. The Model X is built for performance and comfort, the Mercedes EQS 580 pairs electric silence with S-Class-level luxury, and the Hummer EV turns heads with its bold styling and instant torque. The full range is on the electric cars page.
The silent acceleration adds a futuristic edge to the drive, especially cruising past the Museum of the Future or the Dubai Frame.
EV Fleet
| Model | Daily Price, 1–2 days |
|---|---|
| Tesla Model X | AED 3 480 |
| Mercedes EQS 580 | AED 910 |
| Hummer EV | AED 1 530 |
EVs in our fleet are reserved for drivers 25 and above.

Helpful tipLook at DEWA’s charger map before a long day out, and use guest mode in the DEWA app if you have no EV account. Do not wait for a low battery warning to start looking for a charger.

Essential Requirements for Renting in Dubai
Before you book, check these requirements so there are no last-minute surprises:
1. Documents
Tourists need a valid passport, their home country’s driving license and an International Driving Permit (IDP). UAE residents bring a UAE driving license and their Emirates ID.
2. Age & Experience
Every car has its own minimum age and experience, shown on the car page, from 21 to 25 years. Economy and family models mostly start at 21 to 23. Luxury and sports cars ask for 25 and above, with 3 to 5 years of driving experience depending on the model.
3. Salik (Toll System)
Dubai’s electronic toll system, Salik, charges AED 6.30 per gate at peak (06:00–10:00 and 16:00–20:00) and AED 4.20 off-peak, with 5% VAT already included since June 2026. Gates are free from 01:00 to 06:00, and Sundays are a flat AED 4.20. Every car in our fleet carries a pre-installed Salik tag, and the charges are billed to you separately after the rental ends. Current rates are on Salik’s variable toll page.
4. Brook Drive Advantage: No Deposit
Brook Drive rents with no deposit and no hidden payments. That frees up your funds for shopping, dining and experiences, and we accept cryptocurrency on top of cards and cash.
Keep your documents in the car: passport, license, IDP and the rental agreement.
Insider Tips for First-Time Renters
Renting a car in Dubai is straightforward, but a few tips make it smoother:
- Book in advance: During peak season (November–March), popular models like the G63 and the Ferrari F8 can sell out quickly. Reserve at least 2–3 weeks ahead to secure the car you want.
- Inspect the car: Before driving off, walk around the vehicle with the rental agent and note any existing scratches or marks, with photos or a short video on your phone. It protects you from being blamed for pre-existing damage.
- Understand the fuel policy: Every rental runs full-to-full: you get the car with a full tank and return it full. Petrol stations are everywhere in Dubai, so plan the return leg to top up rather than handing the car back empty.
- Pay for parking: Street parking is paid in the Parkin app or by SMS or WhatsApp to 7275. Check the zone code on the sign and pay as soon as you park.
- Watch the speed limits: Dubai Police lists a fine of AED 300 for speeding up to 20 km/h over the limit, and the higher bands reach AED 2,000. You can check a fine by plate on the Dubai Police or RTA services. With Brook Drive, fines are forwarded to the renter and paid after the rental.
Which Class to Pick
The right class depends on the trip, not on a ranking. This table pairs common trips with the models above.
| Trip | Class | Models in this guide |
|---|---|---|
| Sunset drives and special occasions | Supercar | Ferrari F8 Spider, Lamborghini Huracán Evo Spyder, McLaren 750S Spider |
| Business meetings and hotel arrivals | Luxury SUV | Mercedes G63 AMG, Lamborghini Urus, Rolls-Royce Cullinan |
| Groups and long highway trips | Full-size SUV or van | Toyota Land Cruiser 300, Nissan Patrol, Hyundai Staria, Chevrolet Tahoe |
| Open-top drives in winter | Convertible | Ford Mustang Convertible, Porsche 718 Boxster, BMW 420 Convertible |
| A month or more on a budget | Economy sedan or compact | Mazda 6, Fiat Abarth 595 |
| Quiet city driving | EV | Tesla Model X, Mercedes EQS 580, Hummer EV |
VerdictA supercar or a convertible suits a short, special trip, a luxury SUV suits business and arrivals, and a full-size SUV or van suits groups. For a month or longer the daily rate drops across the fleet, so an economy or family car is the practical pick.

Not at Brook Drive. We rent with no deposit, and basic insurance is already included in the daily rate.
